I grew up around lots of neighborhoods where drugs are common and that was the start of a long hard battle against addiction, depression, and substance abuse. My story begins when I was first exposed to drugs and people vaping and smoking and this desensitized me.I took my first hit of a vape and then after purchasing one I was peer pressured and was convinced that it’s the same kind of thing because it is on a similar looking device. Then I took my first hit then I felt amazing and deep down I knew that I did not like being out of control but I felt worse being sober. After years of weed usage and heavy drinking I bought some mushrooms and woke up outside and realized that I hit rock bottom and I needed to change but didn’t have the courage to resist the temptation of drugs but then I discovered Jared’s music and I truly looked at the lyrics and I realized that we are going though similar things I can pick my self up even from rock bottom but it will be a long and hard journey so I reached out to some family and with there encouragement I was able to get into a rehabilitation facility. This was the turning point after the program I cleaned my apartment up and started picking up the pieces of my life after several months I realized how far Jared’s music and my family have help me come. Thanks to him I am where I am in life.
