Ever since I was little, I could tell I was a little more emotionally invested in things as well as more worried than other kids. I went through elementary school and middle school dealing with lots of anxiety, hard emotions, and self-doubt that forced me to mature way quicker than most kids my age, and I found it harder and harder to connect with others. When I was in 8th grade, this realization caught up to me, and I began spiraling into an identity crisis which almost resulted in me taking my own life. Luckily, getting help from my family, friends, and reaching out to a therapist as well as getting diagnosed with and treating my anxiety and depression helped me out so much, and now I’m thriving in high school as a tenth grader. Nothing is more freeing than sharing your feelings with others, and in the end, it’s worth it to say something before something tragic happens. Always remember, you were uniquely and utterly made to be you. You are human. You are loved. And you are worth it. ❤️ 🙂
